Entrepreneurial
I also have strong entrepreneurial tendencies, one example being Cynthia Barcomi Kitchenware, which I co-founded with Cynthia Barcomi in 2009.
Our journey began with a simple frustration: the lack of high-quality baking pans on the German market. Most options were coated, prone to rust, or made questionable promises like "faster baking." We envisioned something better—baking pans that were durable, rust-free, and uncoated, with excellent heat distribution.
Equally important to us was how and where these pans would be made. Our search led us to England, where we partnered with a family-run business specializing in anodized aluminum bakeware. After visiting their factory, we knew we had found the perfect manufacturer to bring our vision to life.
Today, Cynthia Barcomi Kitchenware has become a trusted staple in professional kitchens and thousands of homes. What began with a small collection of baking pans has grown over the past fifteen years into a complete bakeware series, including kitchen utensils and textiles – all designed to elevate the art of baking.
